Organization

Tampere Adult Education Foundation is founded in 1962. The foundation runs the Tampere Adult Education Centre, which is commonly known as TAKK.

The board of Tampere Adult Education Foundation includes representatives from the city of Tampere, Tampere Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Confederation of Finnish Industries - EK and SAK - The Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions.

Our main clients are the Employment and Economic Development Centre for Tampere Region, Pirkanmaa Apprenticeship Centre, Finnish National Board of Education (subsidized by the Government) and enterprises and communities.
