Support for learning challenges
If you have learning challenges and need support, a special education teacher will plan the necessary support measures for you.
Special support means special teaching and study arrangements as well as pedagogical support based on the student's individual needs, goals, and abilities. Students enrolled in vocational upper secondary education, further vocational education, specialist vocational education, and TUVA education are eligible for special support.
Examples of different learning challenges for which you can receive support from a special education teacher:
- Reading difficulties
- Attention and developmental difficulties
- Perception challenges
- Developmental language disorder
- Mathematical learning difficulties
Support measures are planned together with the special education teacher, the student, and the responsible instructor. If necessary, support measures can also be planned for workplace learning.
If you have previously had adjustments or support needs in your studies, please feel free to contact the special education teacher in your field.
