Certificates, study certificates and transcripts of study records

Study certificates and transcripts of study records

You can order and download an electronically signed up-to-date study certificate and a temporary transcript of study records listing your completed competence points from Studyo Oy Atomi. Save the document or documents you need to your own files, from where you can attach the document to e-mail, Kela's e-service or print it out.

If you need other certificates or, for example, additional information on the progress of your studies on the transcript of study records, please contact the secretary of your field of study.

Certificate

TAKK is gradually switching to electronic certificates during 2024.

At the initial stage, qualification diplomas are issued electronically: vocational, further vocational and specialist vocational qualifications. The electronic signature of vocational qualifications is implemented with a certificate from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency. The certificate is the strongest possible and is accepted throughout the EU.

Certificates of non-qualification education will continue to be issued on paper. Also, the students coming from outside the EU, the so-called on-demand training students get their certificates issued on paper.

How do I get an electronic certificate?

  • After graduation, you will receive an email with a link to download the certificate. The link is valid for 30 days from your graduation day.
  • Download and save the certificate in several safe locations!
  • If the link has expired or you have not received the message, ask the secretary of your field of study for a new link. Or if, for some reason, the link does not work and you have TAKK email, you can download the certificate here: Studyo Oy Atomi within 30 days from your graduation date.

Storage, use and paper copy of the electronic certificate

  • The electronic certificate is your original certificate.
  • You can copy and save your electronic certificate to several locations and forward it e.g. as a job application attachment.
  • Do not edit your electronic certificate! Editing breaks the electronic certificate. Do not open your certificate in Word edit mode, for example.
  • A paper copy of the certificate is not an official qualification certificate.
  • If you need a certified copy of your certificate on paper (e.g. if you are applying to work or study abroad), you can ask for verification of the copy using the certificate request form.

Verification of electronic certificate

  • The authenticity of an electronic document (e.g. study certificate, transcript of study records and qualification certificate) can be checked Digital and Population Data Services Acency’s certificate search dvv.fineid.fi or Atomi-validator -service.
